Most visitors plan their own trip with information contained in this website and help from the helpful rental agents at Elbow Cay Properties. Few travel agents have experience actually traveling in this area, so the extra effort will insure that there are no gaps in your planning.

1. Pick Your Dates
Of greatest importance is advance reservations for all key elements of your trip. The more popular rental houses and boats are booked far in advance, sometimes nore than a year ahead. Meridian's amenities insure that you will always be confortable no matter what the calendar season, but plan ahead to get the dates that are best for you.

2. Reserve the House
The rental agent for Meridian is Elbow Cay Properties. Their small size and very personalized attention means that you will typically be talking directly with the owners, Carrie Cash or Jane Patterson, or Jane's mother, Mary. They are most helpful and will offer suggetions if this is your first trip to the Cay.

3. Reserve the Boat and Golf Cart
Like the houses, the best boats from the best companies are frequently reserved well in advance. The larger boats provide a better ride when breezy and can also extend your comfortable travel range. There isn't a big difference in rental rates, so getting the largest boat available is usually prudent.

Golf carts on the island are generally more available than boats; but having one on your vacation is almost essential. One cart confortable carry 4 adults, but you will need two carts for a larger group.

4. Make Airline Reservations
There are a number of air carriers and charter planes that service March Harbor. Fly via Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Nassau, or charter. There is daily air service with:
